One of our favorite looping, multi-instrumentalists, Andrew Bird, has announced a bunch of spring 2012 tour dates along with a new album, called Break It Yourself, set to be released in March 2012.

Pre-sales for the first batch of 2012 US tour dates kicked off today via Musictoday, with public on-sales starting this weekend, December 9-10 (Oakland on December 18).

Bird is also kicking in some music for fans that purchase tickets for his US tour dates (from March 15 – May 12), including digital versions of the new album and two five-song EPs. Get all the deets over on
