Tom Petty, Black Crowes Will Be Jammin’

It’s been announced: Tom Petty and The Black Crowes are going to be playing a slew of dates this summer. All the community sites are going crazy over The Black Crowes right now, and it appears that they’re playing stronger than ever.

These dates look nice. I’d like to see more than one night at Deer Creek, and I’m f***ing there. Tom Petty at Deer Creek in 2002 was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.

  1. I can’t wait for the Blossom Music Theatre show! Chris Kuroda is also a bonus on lights for the Black Crowes! Gonna be a whole lotta fun!

  2. Just wanted to talk about the concert I went to last night, Tom Pertty and the Heartbreakers, at Verizon wireless in Noblesville, IT SUCKED!! I don’t know what was going on with those parking people but we waited 2 hours in line to get inside to park and missed all of the Black Crowes, then Tom Petty only played for about an hour before the weather took over, then everyone had to go back to there cars soaking wet, no portapottys and wait ANOTHER 2 HOURS before even moving in the parking lot. Worst Concert Ever.

  4. Oh wow! Ouch!

That sounds pretty rough actually. Deer Creek just happens to be in the middle of some of the nastiest storm paths that no one would wish upon any concert goer. I got rained on at the first time I saw Tom Petty there, and one of the craziest storms rolled through there at DMB 2000.
