Tame Impala Confirms Fourth LP ‘The Slow Rush’ Due Out Early Next Year

Tame Impala has finally confirmed their next album will be released early next year. Teased to be released in early 2019 ahead of their Coachella appearance, the only two songs that saw the light of day officially were played live and fans haven’t heard anything new since.

That is, until today.

Introducing The Slow Rush, the band’s fourth LP, is a video showing Kevin Parker in the studio getting it ready and being quite Laurel Canyon about the whole thing to be honest. Whatever is playing in the background is a new groove, for sure.

Check it out below.

Along with that release, a few hours later the band confirmed the new album art. It’s fine.

Keep up with their official socials for the latest and greatest, but we’ll be keeping up with what the psychedelic rockers will have planned for next year. Probably a ton of festivals and two-night runs sold-out across the country.
