Some great artists have been announced for the 2006 San Diego Street Scene festival happening Lollapalooza weekend in downtown San Diego. Modest Mouse, Sean Paul, Bloc Party, Editors, Tapes ‘n Tapes, Tool, and many more have all signed on. More after the jump.

Tool and Kanye West have been confirmed to headline this year’s San Diego Street Scene, which will feature more than 45 performers across six stages.
The August 4-5 festival will also feature AFI, Social Distortion, Snoop Dogg, Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age, Wu-Tang Clan, My Chemical Romance, Sean Paul, Bloc Party, Bad Religion, Yellowcard, Tricky, She Wants Revenge, Steel Pulse, G Love & Special Sauce, Editors, The Futureheads, Donavon Frankenreiter, Rock Kills Kid, Tapes ‘n Tapes, Thomas Mapfumo & Blacks Unlimited, Lupe Fiasco and more.
The lineup for each day has not yet been announced.
The 22nd annual edition of the event will take place on a 2.5 million-square-foot area outside Qualcomm Stadium, adjacent to downtown San Diego.
Tickets are on sale now for the fest, which will also feature the Mutaytor circus act, the vaudeville/burlesque Yard Dogs Road Show, the Dragon House Drag Show, a drum circle, carnival rides, arts and crafts and more.
