When Neko Case released Fox Confessor Brings the Flood early last year, responded overwhelmingly good reviews and support at performances including the Sasquatch, Telluride and SxSW festivals. The alt-country woman had solidified her place as more than just a passing fad in the world of female , a feat which is proven by the fact that her 2007 tour line-up includes performances famous names as Merle Haggard and Emmylou Harris.

2007 :

She’s starting off with a tour of Australia, so if you needed a good excuse to get down under, here it is:

But if you can’t justify flying to Australia just to see Neko, you can catch her afterwards on the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada:
