My Morning Jacket have announced a new album, a self-titled double LP that’s due out on October 22 via ATO Records.

The band also shared the first single and video from the release, a psychedelic drone-y jam called “Regularly Scheduled Programming.” It’s pretty sick.

“I know that feeling you get from driving around blasting music you love, or even lying in bed and crying to the music you love. The fact that we’re able to be a part of people’s lives in that way is so magical to us, and it feels really good that we’re still around to keep doing that.” – Jim James

Check out the video below, which was co-directed by Jim James and George Mays.
