A holiday commemorating a Mexican victory in a battle that happened over a century and a half ago is as good a reason as any to catch a show. Luckily there is no shortage of options for this years Cinco de Mayo festivities. BoomBox will takeover the on Saturday for an evening full of tasty grooves while Minnesota paints the Bluebird with beats and bass. Kinetix will be “funking-up” their regular set with Bop Skizzum at the Summit Music Hall. Also PLM artist Gramatik will be rocking the Black Sheep down in Springs.
