Giving even more meaning to their tune “On Repeat,” LCD Soundsystem has basically been on repeat on my iPod for the last few weeks (as have !!!, 120 Days, and the Cold War Kids). Although I’ve been diggin their witty disco-punk stylings for a while now, I have just recently been giving LCD Soundsystem a deeper listen as well as a key spot in my rotation of workout tunes.
So I was stoked to see that they’ve just added a slew of North American tourdates to their spring tour, which starts in Europe in March. After Europe, they’re crossing the pond to do a few hometown shows in NYC, then hitting the ever-growing Coachella Music Festival, and swinging back around the U.S. and Canada for a full tour.
They’ve also released a music video for a cut from their upcoming release, Sounds of Silver, which is out officially out March 20 on DFA/Capitol Records (though it was leaked out into the Internets a while back). The video is for “North American Scum” is out.
