Khruangbin is in the midst of the longest and widest world tour they’ve ever done, and today they posted some sad news that they need to cancel their performance at the Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival. The note reads that they have suffered an “unexpected and urgent health scare” but those are the only details we have so far.
Here’s the note they shared.
Dear @Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival and Birmingham Khru,
We are absolutely gutted that we cannot be there today with you. This is the first time we have ever cancelled a show and we do NOT take it lightly. We have had an unexpected and urgent health scare.
We look forward to the soonest opportunity to make it up to you. Brum, you are in our hearts. We love you.
Hope everything is okay.
Unfortunately, due to illness @Khruangbin are unable to perform at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul today.
We are naturally gutted by the news but health comes first. We send our wishes to the Khruangbin team and apologise to anyone looking forward to seeing them perform today.
