It’s always a great week when Phish announces tour dates, but this particular announcement was a spectacular victory for West Coast fans. Basically this tweet sums up exactly how I was going into this week vs. how I’m finishing it…

As for today, I started my day with the new Khruangbin album, Con Todo El Mundo. It’s incredible and worth your time today no doubt. I’m already on spin number two. Stream it here.

Dominic from Big Gigantic was the one that tweeted out this news as it dropped; he’ll be joining Snoop Dogg, The Roots, Chaka Khan, Joey Bada$$, Trombone Shorty & Cory Henry for an EPIC Super Jam at Okeechobee Music Festival called PoWow!. That’ll be a good one.

Ty Segall is out with a new album today called Freedom’s Goblin. Available for purchase on vinyl and cassette like the hipsters be doing these days.

Watch the new Justin Timberlake video “Say Something” featuring Chris Stapleton. The video was directed by La Blogothèque.

For the vinyl collectors, some old Brian Eno albums just got re-issues: Another Green World & Here Come The Warm Jets.

Calexico is back with a new album called The Thread That Keeps Us.

R.I.P. Hugh Masekela. I’ll admit I wasn’t much familiar with the art and music that he put out, but I’m glad the tributes have turned me onto the music here. It’s really incredible stuff. Streaming some stuff on Spotify right now, but eyeing grabbing this re-release of Hope on vinyl. Worth it?

Shape The Future is the new release from Nightmares on Wax. On the list for today.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have a new release out today called Pizazz.

Grammy-nominated powerhouse Beth Hart and guitar hero Joe Bonamassa released their new collaborative album Black Coffee, the follow-up to Seesaw.

What else is happening?
