The Grateful Dead have signed a new global administration deal via their publishing company Ice Nine. The announcement today that the band’s material will now be under the supervision of Warner Chappell which will cover the legendary jamband’s entire body of work of nearly 200 original songs, including many of the Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter collaborations and legendary Bob Weir songs like “Sugar Magnolia.” As always the band will continue to release material from their archives through a longstanding pact with Warner Music’s Rhino Records.
