Well, I’m not fully inclined to pay to watch this tomorrow, but some of you might need to when the Turkey coma subsides. I’m sure it’ll be cool, so check it out. My brother went to the concert and he said it was great, as to be expected really.
As you enjoy the bounty of Thanksgiving, you can watch a tribute concert to the independent farmers who grow those potatoes, squash, green beans and more.
The 20th anniversary Farm Aid concert, which took place in September at the Tweeter Center in Tinley Park, will be broadcast in high-definition on the two iN DEMAND cable channels (INHD1, INHD2) beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The broadcast premiere features behind-the-scenes footage, as well as performances by Farm Aid president Willie Nelson; board members John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews, and Wilco, Buddy Guy with John Mayer, Widespread Panic, Los Lonely Boys, Arlo Guthrie, Emmylou Harris, Susan Tedeschi and more. iN Demand Networks will make the concert available for free via Video On Demand through the end of the year
