Dead & Company returns to the stage tonight for their first of three shows in Riviera Cancún at the Moon Palace resort as part of their Playing in the Sand destination event. The band closed their 2019 with a mini West Coast Fun Run with two shows in Los Angeles and two shows in San Francisco, so no dust had time to settle and we’d expect a tight set of shows featuring the new Grateful Dead band.
As always, Dead & Company is Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart from the original Dead lineup, and they’re joined by John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge to round out the full sound.
