Matthews Band has announced “A Concert for , an Evening of and Unity on Sunday, September 24th at UVA’s Scott Stadium in response to the recent events in their hometown of , VA. The concert will be FREE for members of the and University of Virginia communities, and they’re bringing along an amazing lineup to help them bring some healing to the area.

Joining will be , , , , of , , and more special guests yet to be announced.

While are free, attendees are encouraged to make a donation tothe “Concert for Charlottesville Fund” at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. Beneficiaries of the fund will include victims of the events in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12, and their families, first responders, and organizations devoted to the promotion of healing, unity and justice locally and nationwide.Donations can be made HERE.

Tickets will be allocated initially to residents of the greater Charlottesville area, and also to UVA students, faculty and staff. An online ticket request period is currently underway at and will end on Monday, September 11, at Noon ET. A limited number of will also be available at a walk-up, no service charge box office at John Paul Arena on Friday, September 15, at 10 ET.

The event – produced by Nation, Starr Hill Presents and the University of Virginia will be livestreamed to a global audience through a media partnership with Oath (a subsidiary of Verizon).

The event, hosted by Matthews Band, will be held in their hometown at the University of Virginia’s Scott Stadium. Fans can tune in at beginning at 5:55 PM ET on Sunday, September 24, 2017
