This news really struck me as odd this morning.
It looks as though Phish alumni Mike Gordon and Jon Fishman are getting together for a special, political benefit concert in Burlington, VT on Friday, June 2. Who’s the benefit for? Indepedent Congressman Bernie Sanders and his bid for the U.S. Senate…
Mike’s performing with his new Ramble Dove outfit, already signed on for Bonnaroo 2006, so that’s no huge surprise. Grace Potter is also slated to perform, and I’m not really sure what Fishman will be doing there but that’s okay, too…
