Most of the music world began to recognize Seattle as a hot spot in the ‘90’s when Nirvana drew attention to the area, but the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival had been going on there long before Cobain got the media’s attention. After more than 35 years of bringing live music to the Seattle stage, Bumbershoot has worked out the kinks, as recognized by the more-than-150,000 fans who head to the 75 acre music space each year to hear favorite bands and see what’s new in Seattle.
The 2007 Bumbershoot Festival takes place September 1 – 3. World Events Guide shows that Kanye West will be this year’s headliner.
