Bob Gullotti (Drummer) Has Passed Away, R.I.P.

Jazz drummer and Berklee College of Music professor Bob Gullotti has reportedly passed away as first revealed by The Lilypad, a venue he frequently performed at. He performed there regularly as a founding member of the Fringe, a free jazz band. And his playing first came into my life through the free jazz experimental album that Trey Anastasio was a part of, Surrender to the Air.

Over the years he performed with Phish multiple times, first on October 23, 1996 at the Hartford Civic Center, then during a two-night stint in Texas during 1997.
