Tag: The National

The National performing at LouFest in St. Louis on September 7th, 2013.

The National is a band we’ve only covered sporadically over the years, but we’re certainly fans of what they’ve done and driven creatively in the indie rock scene. In some ways we’re a bit more creatively impressed with what these guys have gone and done outside of this band, with Day of the Dead, Dark Was The Night, and Big Red Machine all being keywords you’d need to explore if you find yourself digging what output the National has.

BAND: Matt Berninger (vocals), Aaron Dessner (guitar, keyboards), Bryce Dessner (guitar), Scott Devendorf (bass) and Bryan Devendorf (drums)
