LCD Soundsystem returned to the stage tonight at Webster Hall in New York City for their first show in five years, and James Murphy and his crew did not disappoint.

The band tore through 14 songs as a warmup to their Coachella appearances coming up in mid-April, and it was an appropriately delivered cobweb-duster of an affair. While they were plagued by a bit of technical trouble which forced the early stopping of “One Touch” following their opener, “Get Innocuous”, they recovered easily and early and delivered a confident set that seemed to pick up right about where they left off. Murphy later explained that they were futzing around with a keyboard he dubbed “the demon” which seemed like an ill-fated decision to bust out on Easter Sunday, so he seemed to be in great spirits and loose enough to crack some jokes here and there. He also explained somewhat early how their encore break would play out, just another way he likes to break down the fourth wall between the music and the fans.

Read on for the setlist from the show and some of my favorite tweets that were bouncing around as the show happened. Some videos are starting to surface as well.
