Music Vault has been steadily uploading their massive collection of live videos to YouTube and yesterday they officially launched their channel to the masses.
Today, Music Vault is making the world’s greatest live music video collection available on YouTube, offering fans more than 13,000 videos. With exclusive concert footage spanning the last fifty years, this collection represents a major piece of live music history. With iconic and rare performances from hundreds of legendary artists like The Who, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, James Brown, and Bruce Springsteen, and popular indie acts like Deer Tick, St. Vincent and Fleet Foxes, Music Vault aims to be the destination for live music video online.
Launched a few months back with a slow prod towards complete, the channel is beyond impressive for any music fan of any set of tastes that may appeal to said music fan.
Music Vault, which launched in April of this year, houses video from beloved, bygone music venues and historic music archives from Bill Graham Presents, the King Biscuit Flower Hour, Woodstock, the Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals, New Jersey’s Capitol Theatre and many more.
