There’s a lot of great live music on TV that we tend to miss here when sifting through tour dates and promo mp3s. No longer…
Starting now, I’m going to try and give you my picks for some good music to watch on TV in the upcoming week, and I’ll keep this going as long as there are good schedules to review.
Also, click on the artists’ name, buy their albums from Amazon, and help support Live Music Blog. Do it.
Monday: Feist is hitting Jimmy Kimmel Live
Tuesday: Beth Orton on The Tonight Show, the Constantines on Last Call, and She Wants Revenge on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Wednesday: Nickel Creek on Jay Leno,
Thursday: Iron & Wine (w/ Calexico) on Late, Late Show (rerun)
Friday: (not much)
Saturday: Widespread Panic on Austin City Limits (check locals…)
Update: (from R)
Comcast (digital cable+) customers should check out OnDemand > Music > Concerts. This month there are 2 30 min Gov’t Mule segments (both from the Deepest End DVD) and a Brazilian Girls promo. The Concert section of OnDemand often has good stuff – Widespread, Black Crowes, My Morning Jacket, have all been featured.
Stay tuned for next week’s…
