You know me, I’m a Police fan. So much so, actually, that I tend to rib anyone that says anything about Sting.
Anything. Ever.
“Yeah, I wish they were still The Police, but whatever…”
I’m sure that they don’t like it, but I just can’t help myself.
Add “filmmaker” to drummer Stewart Copeland’s list of credits. His documentary, “Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out,” will debut Jan. 22 at the Sundance Film Festival. The 74-minute film is culled from Super 8 movies Stewart shot from the band’s early days in the mid-’70s through the early ’80s.
Les Claypool actually helped him get the film submitted, surely once Les felt confident enough with his own offering, Electric Apricot: The Quest for Festeroo.
I want to see both.
