After this week’s 2/28/03 reminisce a few friends including our own Wesley Hodges mentioned that 3/1/03 also holds a special place in their respective concert-going-hearts. For Wes, it was his very first Phish experience and a grand one at that. “I was in high school and my friend’s mom drove us 8 hours to Greensboro. They played so many big go-to jams for a n00b – Divided Sky, Piper, 2001 and YEM.” @JasonSpang, who was also in attendance remembers a huge stream of orange glowsticks, a waterfall, being thrown from the upper level during Divided Sky’s pause. A glowstick war/sight so big even the band held their pause to watch. Naturally we couldn’t resist the chance of highlighting that awesome “Piper” and the “You Enjoy Myself” (w/ “Oye Como Va” and “Another One Bites the Dust” teases)! especially on Phish Friday. The perfect start to your weekend. Watch.
