WEBCAST: Foxygen and Unknown Mortal Orchestra will stream their show tonight!
Hipster Couch Tour Alert for tonight! NPR will be streaming the sold-out double-bill of the psych-trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra (UMO) and Foxygen tonight LIVE from the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, DC. Both bands have considerable buzz surrounding their recent releases, II (UMO) and We are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic (Foxygen) and this is a great chance to dive headfirst into both bands. Word is spreading as the next six shows are already sold out with UMO also making their television debut last night on Jimmy Fallon.
Tonight’s live webcast is scheduled to start at 9 PM (ET) / 6 PM (PT) with Foxygen hitting the stage first and UMO headlining around 10pm. We’ll also have our own Kenny Sun on hand for their NYC gig tomorrow so stay tuned for an extensive photo gallery to close out the week.
The DC show tonight is sold out but you can listen to our set live online @nprmusic tonight at around 10pm EST here! n.pr/YAG0n7
