Boston Calling: New festival announces The National, Fun., Shins, Portugal the Man, Andrew Bird & More
The city of Boston is finally getting a music festival to call their own! Boston Calling (named after The Clash’s London Calling) will take place on May 25th and 26th, with the organizers hoping to attract 20,000 fans to Boston’s City Hall plaza. The organizers are also promising no overlapping sets. Single day tickets are $75 and weekend passes are $130, which go on sale Friday, March 1st. The inaugural lineup includes recent Grammy winners, fun., The National, The Shins, Portugal the Man, Of Monsters and Men, the Walkmen, Andrew Bird, Ra Ra Riot, the Dirty Projectors and many more.
