Heavy metal legends Metallica have taken Green Day’s spot as headliners of this year’s Voodoo Experience. Having seen them recently rock Golden Gate Park quite possibly harder than it has ever been rocked before at this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival, suffice it say, this is an excellent choice for the festival and one that should help move tickets from some folks that would’ve likely otherwise been on the fence. Huge pull to get Metallica playing in City Park. For those of you too young or not lucky enough to have experienced a Metallica concert, there are few bands out there today wielding this kind of voltage. Get there early and prepare for a bruiser of a show in the Big Easy.
