Oteil Burbridge has announced his departure from the Tedeschi Trucks Band in a statement on the band’s website. The decision to leave is to pursue a lighter touring schedule. Burbridge will continue to tour with The Allman Brothers Band and has an upcoming date on December 16th with the Aquarium Rescue Unit. Read his official statement here. The Tedeschi Trucks Band have reached out to their extended family of musicians and have confirmed three great bass players for the upcoming Fall shows. Ted Pecchio, Dave Monsey and George Porter Jr will substitute on different dates.
