Governor’s Ball Music Fest 2012 Recap Video Released, 2013 Dates Announced

The folks at Founders Entertainment have announced the dates for the 2013 Governors Ball Music Festival. This thing has quickly grown into one of the bigger events on the already overloaded NYC concert calendar and a return for year three shows us that it’s possibly gonna be here for the long haul, where so many other awesome-in-concept/failed-in-execution NY festivals have failed to take hold. The 3rd annual installment of the festival will take place Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th in beautiful Randall’s Island Park.

In its 2nd year grew from a one to two day festival, selling out GA and VIP tickets and featuring an impressive lineup that included Beck, Passion Pit, Kid Cudi, Devendra Banhart, Phantogram Modest Mouse, Explosions In The Sky, Santigold, Duck Sauce and Chromeo, among others. Interested to see where this one goes from here.
