Mississippi hip-hop sensation Big K.R.I.T. hits the House of Blues on Tuesday in support of Live from the Underground, his “debut album.” The record, released in June on Def Jam, comes on the heels of a few stellar mixtapes, most notably 2011’s Return of 4Eva, which captured the hearts of indie hip-hop fans with its deft combination of smart, inspiring songs and fun, bouncy bangers about girls and old schools whips. Openers include ODD FUTURE collaborator Casey Veggies, K.R.I.T. protégé Big Sant, and fellow Mississippi native Tito Lopez.
Finally, check out our coverage and photos from Big K.R.I.T.’s set at the 2012 BUKU Music & Arts Project here.
