LMB LA: Mint Residency to Feature Lettuce members at ‘Big Lil Baby Jesus Peasant Party’
The Mint continues their solid lineup of Wednesday residencies with a Big Lil Baby Jesus Peasant Party in August. Guaranteed to be a funky dance party every Wednesday. After playing The Hollywood Bowl last night, The Neville Brothers’ Ian Neville stopped in to play with Erick Coomes. Neville played drums and guitar to end the evening. Check out some of the other scheduled guests after the jump
Erick “Jesus” Coomes (@Edangerous) from Lettuce will be hosting the party each Wednesday night.

An interesting note from Lettuce’s bio, whom Erick regularly plays in. Lettuce’s name originated in 1994 in Boston when the members would ask club owners and other musicians if they would “let us play”, giving birth to the name Lettuce.

For the first two weeks of the Mint LA residency – Erick will be joined by his brother Tyler Coomes (drums) and Adam Smirnoff (guitarist – Lettuce/Lady Gaga). The Mint has alluded to some celebrity guests in the works for the last two weekends in August.
