The Allman Brothers Announce the Peach Music Festival

UPDATE (3/26): the lineup announcement was due today but delayed; we’ll have any updates on this as they become available.

In case you missed it the has announced a new festival for this year. The Peach Music Festival is slated for August 10-12 at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA. We can assume multiple sets by the Allman Brothers, but the rest of the lineup wont be announced until Monday, March 26th.

The Allmans Brothers are currently in the middle of their annual run of shows at the Beacon Theatre here in NYC. Here’s two photos from their opening night (courtesy of Derek McCabe):

    Is this true or just a rumor?  I just went to Live Nation’s site, the Montage site, and the Allman Brotheres site and neither have this scheduled on their sites…there is no information on these sites in regards to this festival.  I work for a local tv station in which Live Nation advertises on and we haven’t heard anything about this yet.

    I’m an Allman Brothers fan and live 5 min away from this venue and would be so disappointed if this was a rumor.
