Foo Fighters, MMJ, Tom Petty and Herbie Hancock To Headline Jazz Fest 2012

Alas, the wait is over and the 2012 lineup is here. Thrilled to see the return of (played and Voodoo in 2010) and ( ’08), as well as the incomparable Herbie Hancock, , Givers, a special performance by Levon Helm Band with special guest Mavis Staples, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, and Steve Earle among so many others. Time to start planning and waiting for the late nights and dailies to roll in over the coming months. Who are you excited to see? And also, who’s the “TBA” on there? Wesley grew up in coastal Georgia and is a former resident of The Music City and the Big Easy where he helped get Live Music Blog: NOLA off-the-ground, managing it in New Orleans through Jazz Fest 2012. Hodges now lives amongst THE CALIFORNIANS as a newcomer to West LA. His favorite artists include My Morning Jacket, Sigur Rós, Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers Band, Dr. Dog, Tame Impala, Anders Osborne, Radiohead and Bobby & The Midnites.
