Tuareg blues grooves anyone?

I first got turned on to Tinariwen after eMusic flagged their last album as a recommendation. I certainly wasn’t alone in loving their sound, as they quickly put together a U.S. tour. Since then, they’ve caught the attention of some fellow musicians, as their new record, Tassili, features Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone of TV On The Radio along with Nels Cline of Wilco and the horns of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

The band has been on the road for about a week now and will play Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest this weekend.
