PREVIEW: 7 Walkers @ Tipitina’s 10/18/11
7 Walkers make their first stop at Tipitina’s tomorrow night for what will sure be a fun evening on Napoleon Ave. The still new supergroup have popped up a few times in the city since forming last year (including a few songs at JoJo Hermann’s Down On The Bayou III, a sold out late-night Jazz Fest show at the old Scottish Rite Temple and a blistering set at The Rusty Nail’s “Day Of The Dead” festival…), but have yet to put down a full on Tipitina’s gig, a rite of passage for any band with any roots in the city of New Orleans.
