PREVIEW @LMBNOLA: Bonobo @ The Hookah 10/6

combines his studio wizardry into the live show pretty well, adapting his signature sound into something more attuned to the live stage than the headphones-worthy downtempo grooves you’ll hear on his records. Tickets and more info are available here. Caught the live band show last November at Republic and will jump at the chance to see what the DJ is up to (and because that brought out one of the more interesting crowds I’ve seen in NOLA). Black Sands was one of the best records of 2010 and I haven’t had the chance to see a show at (just a block over from HoB) so it’s good to see him already coming back to NOLA.
