VIDEO PREVIEW: Toro Y Moi and Unknown Mortal Orchestra @ One Eyed Jacks – 10/10/11

Chaz Bundick, better known by the moniker Toro Y Moi, makes his return to a week from today seven months after having to cancel his highly-anticipated performance at Saturn Bar as part of this year’s Foburg Fest. The prolific 24-year old multi-instrumentalist/beatsmith has proven his meddle as major player in the indie world right out of the gate ever since sparking an initial blogosphere flicker in 2009. Early this year, Bundick followed the stellar 2010 Causers Of This debut LP with the equally impressive and funkier Underneath The Pine (an album that was also available as a tote bag). In September, Toro Y Moi put out the primed-for-the-dancefloor EP Freaking Out, an upbeat collection fun party jams that’ll probably help kickstart the live show. Also adding intrigue to the bill are , a bizarro, hard-to-pin-down new band with a unique sound and a killer self-titled album out on the Fat Possum imprint.
