PREVIEW @LMBNOLA: The 2011 Gretna Heritage Festival – Oct. 7th-9th
Full schedule and set times can be found here.
A great weekend of music on the Westbank is now only a couple weeks away. Gretna Fest has long flown under the radar of New Orleans’ bigger festivals, but they continue to book great local acts year after year. Tickets are $15 at the gate ($40 for a weekend pass) and kids enter free. Great food, live music (rock, funk, latin, cajun and more) and unlike it’s bigger/more famous festival brethren, a lot of room to dance. The Festival is set in historic downtown Gretna and will have up to 5 stages of music going at once. Another bonus is the Riverfront Stage, set right on the river overlooking the beautiful Crescent City Connection and downtown New Orleans. Continue on for the daily lineups.
