LMB NOLA favorite Garage A Trois will be be in South LA the next couple days for a Thursday show in Baton Rouge and will be back in town on Friday night at One Eyed Jacks. This is the jazz-rock fusion supergroup’s first appearance in the Big Easy since playing a number of shows during this year’s Jazz Fest. We were there back on May 4th for the Megalomaniac’s Ball at The Howlin’ Wolf and their in-store earlier that day at Lousiana Music Factory. Ever since finally getting to see them for the first and second time in the same day, I’ve been itchin’ to see the Mike D., Skerik, Stanton and Marco B. altogether once again. Wesley grew up in coastal Georgia and is a former resident of The Music City and the Big Easy where he helped get Live Music Blog: NOLA off-the-ground, managing it in New Orleans through Jazz Fest 2012. Hodges now lives amongst THE CALIFORNIANS as a newcomer to West LA. His favorite artists include My Morning Jacket, Sigur Rós, Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers Band, Dr. Dog, Tame Impala, Anders Osborne, Radiohead and Bobby & The Midnites.
