We might as well warn you that we’re probably going to start blogging about Skrillex quite a bit around these parts. Although not everyone in my crew shared my sentiment, I was pretty psyched on his set at ACL Fest this past weekend. It was my first time ever seeing the youngin’ and he did a pretty solid job of slaying the mid-day festival tweener crowd that was heavied up for this set well ahead of the 5pm scheduled start time. It’s still a bummer I didn’t get to shoot it, but our trusty LMB NOLA Editor did most of the photo heavy lifting and brought back some of this awesomeness.

He’s got a huge tour booked that kicks off this Thursday night in San Diego and runs all over the country through mid-December…given that he’s gracing the next cover of Spin, we’re pretty sure he’s going to have a busy few years ahead of him. Let’s hope he keeps the drops nasty and doesn’t party himself out too quick.
