As my first day of Austin City Limits Music Fest rolled on, I left Santigold early to go shoot Pretty Lights, but upon arriving to the pit promptly as “I Know The Truth” began, the security informed me that I needed a special armband proving my photo pit status for this set in particular. Nobody informed any of the press of this as we checked-in earlier in the day, so needless to say I was a bit frustrated that I didn’t get to bring my SLR front and center for the pretty lights. So I found some dudes and we hung out for a minute while I was doing my best to shoot from where I was standing. Nothing really came out all that well, so I grabbed some videos that others uploaded and embedded them below. Read on for the clips and the crappy photos.
