New Google Doodle Honors Freddie Mercury’s 65th Birthday

Today would have been the 65th birthday of and has honored the legendary singer with his very own Google Doodle tribute. The video starts with an obvious nod to their skill on stage by animating Freddie and the rest of on stage with fans adoring to no end.

But then, just as everything’s ramping up, it’s blast off for Freddie and he’s off into space.

Riding tigers, defying the laws of gravity, blasting aliens with rainbow dubstep lasers…ya know, the usual.

He’s having such a good time…

Back on stage to close it out…

Watch the doodle below or head over to .com for the clickable-logo version. I loved this. R.I.P. Freddie.
