Outside Lands 2011: Single-Day Lineups, Late-Nights Selling Out!

Superfly Presents just announced the single-day lineups for this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival. At first glance it looks like they’ll be putting MGMT and The Shins on the stage on the opposite side of the park as the Phish two-set set planned for Friday, Aug. 12th. Nice. Let’s hope Trey finally puts the finishes touches on his MGMT covers…

The late shows were announced last week and tickets got snatched up pretty fast last weekend; The Original Meters, STS9 and the Arctic Monkeys at the Independent were the quickest sell-outs and there still may be a few on-sale here and there as the festival gets closer. Go here for more details on those shows.

This will be a welcome stop for me after the Phish West Coast tour that me and some friends have planned. Can’t wait.
