The Jazz & Heritage Festival organizers have announced that they will be releasing the schedule cubes with set times for all stages around noon on Wednesday morning at a press conference that will be attended by Mayor Mitch Landrieu.

Additionally, festival organizers will be providing more information about the celebration of Haitian music and culture that is going to be a unique feature of this year’s festival. 2011 will reportedly play host to the largest celebration of Haitian culture in the U.S. since the devastating earthquake in January of last year and such icons of Haitian music and culture including Wyclef Jean, Tabou Combo, RAM, Boukman Eksperyans, Emeline Michel, Djakout #1, DJA-Rara and Ti-Coca & Wanga Négès are slated to perform at various times throughout the weekend. Also, notable to add that Arcade Fire member Régine Chassagne is the daughter of Haitian emigrants and the band raised over $1 million in proceeds last year to benefit the recovery.
