I’m psyched to see that one of my newer musical discoveries, Tame Impala, is doing a U.S. tour surrounding their Coachella 2011 appearance. They’ll also be doing some dates in Europe opening for Foo Fighters, which is a huge opening slot for these up-and-comers.

Their tour starts at Coachella and then they head up to SF for a show at the Fillmore. We like to call this “Coachella week” in San Francisco given how heavy it is in the live music world; we get a solid 10 days or so worth of shows with artists heading down to Indio or artists leaving Indio after the festival. Can’t wait.
