Pete just pinged me with the news that Animal Collective is going to playing Great American Music Hall ahead of their scheduled Coachella performance, along with a Henry Miller Memorial Library show down in Big Sur that has my name written all over it. As Pitchfork mentions, this is really only exciting news for the trip-psych fans in California and the folks that aren’t necessarily making a trek down to Indio for Coachella.
