Giveaway: North Coast Music Festival in Chicago

by -

North Coast Music Festival is set to kickoff their inaugural year next weekend in Chicago’s Union Park, and we’re got FIVE pairs of tickets to giveaway to the lucky fans in the area that can make it out for the event.

For those that haven’t been following, the festival is a newcomer to an already packed Chicago festival circuit, with Pitchfork Music Festival in July and Lollapalooza in August. Add to that a plethora of street festivals around town and the fact that you’re driving distance from Alpine Valley and Deer Creek, you’ve got yourself a pretty action-slammed summer musically speaking. Not that you could afford tickets to all of those events or make time for it, but talk about choices. So many you were on the fence with this one, even though the headliners of Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Nas & Damian Marley, Moby, Pretty Lights, and Lotus are really worth the ticket price and definitely deserve your attention on a warm, autumn afternoon in the great Windy City. That’s where we step in…

We’ve got five pairs of tickets to unload before the festival begins next week. Yes, FIVE. What a chance at one of them? Cool. Here’s how you enter…

Drop a comment on this post by leaving your name and email address (and don’t worry — we will never spam you or show your email address on the site; it’s just to ensure you’re a real person!). In the comment, tell us what band you’d be excited most to see at the festival and present a YouTube link in the comments to share with the rest of the readers. All valid entries will be collected on Sunday at 10pm PDT and winners will be notified on Monday morning! Please don’t submit more than one entry, and get creative in your evidence and let us know what video gets you most excited to see these bands live.

It’s an amazing lineup, but The Chemical Brothers is the most exciting artist for me on the lineup. I’ve gotten a chance to see alot of the other artists between local shows and Bonnaroo, but Chemical Brothers is on that list of artists i’m dying to see, but never thought i’d actually be able to pull off.

as for my YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBV2353FoYA How can you not love this video. Heck, how can you not love all their videos.

Love me some Lupe, never had the opportunity to see him live though. I’m happy a Chicago native was chosen for the North Coast line up.

Tough call… never seen De La Soul before, but I might be most excited for Benga. Sure to be a high-energy good time.
