Phish.net reviews the first night of Phish at the Greek…

The set opened with a siiiiiick “Timber Ho” -> “California Uber Alles” > “Tweezer” -> “Starship Trooper Jam,” which featured some spine-tinglingly funky Moog-work from Page and wook-cooking bass-bombs from Mike. There was heavy “Dave’s Energy Guide” and “Mind Left Body Jam” teasing in “Tweezer” as well. This ferocious medley of tunes was followed, however, by an intestinally distressing trio of “Prince Fuckerpants” > “Let Me Lie” > “Time Turns Elastic.”
