Sadly I’ve had to miss the last two years of South by Southwest and I don’t plan on doing that again. I’ll be booking a hotel and hope to finally put together a showcase like I’ve been telling myself we’d be doing for years now. If you’re a blogger, band or friend that wants to help out, let’s get brainstorming.

Would love to play your showcase!

“Think Iggy Pop/Velvet Underground – and the obligatory Stones and Beatles influence with a gal bass player.” – Bruce Olsen of The Offenders

We are located and have a good draw in DC and Richmond areas, we put on a great energetic show and we would be a great opener for a local act.

Please check out this video and the other links to our music etc. Attached is one of my favorite tunes of ours.

    Thanks so much!
Please let me know if I can provide further information.

Look forward to working with you,

    of The Razorektors

“The Razorektors are the best thing out of Richmond in years. Formed during the east coast’s biggest snow storm in over a century, Skye Handler and Adrian Olsen were left with nothing but a wood fired stove, a carload of instruments belonging to NYC producer JD Foster, and a laptop. The duo wrote and recorded several albums worth of material that week – with a sound imagined from the bastard children of Iggy and the Velvets.

Currently hauled up on an 18th Century Virginia Plantation, the band continues to play out and record with the addition of local guitar player and songwriter Russell Lacy and bassist Alexandra (Alex) Spalding who has shared bills with the likes of Wilco, The Felice Brothers, Josh Ritter, Justin Townes Earle, and The Low Anthem, among others.
