CNN Taps Widespread Panic as House Band

I would say this could be filed under “WTF” news except for the fact that there’s obviously plenty of local heads that are working at that have probably followed for years.

In celebration of their brand new broadcasting studio at World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, will feature as studio’s first-ever house band, during Newsroom with host Kyra Phillips on Tuesday, May 11th from 9:00am – 11:00am Eastern.

During the regular CNN Newsroom broadcast, Widespread Panic will perform into and out of commercial breaks, and answer questions from Phillips throughout the two-hour broadcast.
