Nateva Festival 2010 Lineup Additions: Furthur, moe., Lotus, Keller Williams

A few weeks back, we pointed to an all new festival called the Nateva Music Festival, a three-day, multi-stage camping event slated for July 2-4 at the Oxford Fairgrounds in Maine. At first look, they had only scored the Flaming Lips as a headliner, and then they shortly followed by adding Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band.

But now, they’ve made some much more significant lineup additions that are helping give this new festival some legs and helping it standout as one of the more jam-friendly fests in the vein of Rothbury (RIP) and Wakarusa (and perhaps in contrast to some of their larger festival compatriots like Bonnaroo).

For headlining slots, Nateva has added Furthur (for Sunday night), moe. (for Saturday), and Lotus (for Thursday’s pre-game), along with the already-announced Flaming Lips (as Saturday headliner). They’ve also added Zappa Plays Zappa, and Moonalice to the lineup and plan to announce more bands over the next few weeks.

2010 Initial Lineup:

(Saturday headliner)
Futhur (Sunday headliner)
(Friday headliner)
(Thurs headliner)
Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band

Zappa Plays Zappa
Moonalice
w/ more bands still TBA

Tickets are now on sale at NatevaFestival.com, with weekend passes available at early-bird prices of $199 with camping ($179 without camping), and VIP packages for $425 (VIP perks include: special viewing platforms, preferred parking, camping, dining, a full-service bar, etc…).
